The world is rapidly moving towards a new age of computing, where technology is developing to provide people with greater immersive digital experience. Virtual Reality (VR) is software that places users in an artificial digital environment, which mimics real-life situation as close as possible.
As part of one of their six area of focus on supporting education and literacy for children, Rotary Club of Singapore East Community Service committee has decided to create the “Build Your Own Virtual Reality” workshop, along with Kodecoon. The workshop aims to provide a learning platform for children, from a disadvantaged background, to learn more about coding application in VR/AR world.
Through this workshop, participants will learn how to:
