PSB – SINDA Scholarships



The PSB -SINDA scholarships are offered to candidates who are interested in pursuing a course at PSB Academy.

To be considered for a scholarship, you must be:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of Indian origin
  • Existing PSB students are not eligible to apply for this Scholarship
  • Must not possess any other Degree (for Degree courses) / Diploma (for Diploma courses)
  • Must not hold any other scholarships of study awards
  • Applicant must obtain the Letter of Offer from PSB before application
  • Applicant must submit an essay on the reason for the scholarship application
    • 250 words or more (for Diploma Scholarship applications)
    • 500 words or more (for Degree Scholarship applications)

Diploma Scholarship Eligibility:

  • Diploma Scholarships of 100% (Full-Time and Part-Time)
  • Diploma programmes, the minimum admission criteria is at least GCE ‘A’ Levels
  • For minimum entry of GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Levels, candidates are only eligible to enrol in the following programmes:
    • Diploma in Sport and Exercise Sciences (Exercise and Fitness)
    • Diploma in Sport and Exercise Sciences (Sport Coaching)
    • Diploma in Sport and Leisure Management
  • All co-curricular activity records (From Secondary to Tertiary level)
  • Certificates of Achievements
  • Testimonial(s) for industrial / professional attachments(s) (if applicable)

Degree Scholarship Eligibility:

  • Degree Scholarships of 100% (Full-Time) and 50% (Part-Time)
  • Open to all Private and Polytechnic Diploma holders
  • Academic Records of Polytechnic Diploma (GPA 3.0) or GCE ‘A’ Level (Average Grade B) or equivalent
  • All co-curricular activity records (From Secondary to Tertiary level)
  • Certificates of Achievements
  • Testimonial(s) for industrial / professional attachments(s) (if applicable)

Note: (Degrees must be from Edinburgh Napier University, Coventry University and La Trobe University only)                           

Please do take note that Minimum Entry Requirements (MER) for La Trobe program:

Applicants who fail to meet the MER will automatically be rejected based on their academics status.

Terms & Conditions of PSB Academy Scholarship

  • The award recipient is to start the programme in the above-mentioned cohort at PSB Academy, Singapore and complete the programme within the time frame stipulated in the Overall Schedule.
  • The award recipient is to maintain an average attendance of 90% and sit for all prescribed examinations.
  • The award recipient must achieve above grade of ‘B’ throughout the course of study at PSB Academy.
  • No deferment of module or term shall be allowed.
  • The award recipient is to be involved on any five Corporate Social Responsibility activities initiated by PSB Academy throughout the course of study, and be featured in PSB Academy’s publication and/or promotion of the Academy or University and in any other student recruitment promotion activities.

Termination of Scholarship
The selection panel reserves the right to terminate the scholarship if:

  • The award recipient is found to have provided false or misleading declaration of any information during the application process;
  • The award recipient is found guilty of a disciplinary offence as defined under the student handbook;
  • The award recipient is found to have contravened the law (minor offences such as parking summons and jaywalking are excluded); or
  • The award recipient’s academic progress is not satisfactory

PSB reserves the right to seek full compensation on the monetary amount disbursed to the award recipient.


  • All scholarships entail Tuition Fee only (excluding bridging module fee, non-tuition fee, supplementary exam fee, re-module fee) for the entire duration of the course.
  • Successful candidates are required to pay the membership entrance and subscription fee.
  • Candidates are required to volunteer their time with SINDA or Singapore Indian Education Trust (SIET) during their duration of their course and a student deed would need to be signed with SINDA.



Processing Time

  • You are required to apply for the scholarship 1 month before the cut off period.
  • Processing time takes about 3 – 4 weeks after the closing date.
  • Only short listed candidates will be notified of the interview dates with SINDA.

All scholarships are subject to approval.
You may only start your course, after receiving the scholarship offer and signing the student deed

Ask consultant if there are any bridging modulesyou need to take up in order to start your Diploma or Degree course.

(Please note that fees for bridging modules are not included in the Scholarship).
