University of Warwick Scholarship

The Friends of the University of Warwick in Singapore has launched this new undergraduate scholarship to enable academically-gifted but financially-disadvantaged youth holding Singapore citizenship or Permanent Residency to study at Warwick University. It is funded through the generosity of Warwick alumni and friends in Singapore.

Two scholarships will be offered each year and here’s more information about them –

  • The scholarship supports a maximum of four years of undergraduate study, and will cover tuition and other compulsory fees.
  • Funding may be available for airfare to the UK and return airfare to Singapore upon completion of study.
  • Funding may be available for an annual maintenance allowance of S$6,500.
  • The scholarship award will be reviewed annually and is subjected to satisfactory performance and academic results.

Successful scholarship candidates will be required to report annually on their progress to the Trustees. In addition, they will need to attend events as the Trustees or University may request from time to time, including donor receptions, as well as support the recruitment of further scholars.
