“The most important role a man can play in his life is that of becoming a father. Fatherhood is a man’s link with the future.” (Lewis Yablonsky, Fathers and Sons)
In the last 50 years, fathers have gained more recognition. They are no longer the “forgotten contributors to child development” (Lamb. 1975). Numerous studies support the connection between positive father involvement with better child development. Spending time with your child is one of the elements of good fathering. Other elements include being consistent, aware and nurturing. These are discussed during the workshop. It is a 5hr workshop (inclusive of tea break)
that is informative and informative just for fathers.
