Mental health issues, such as depression, are becoming even more prevalent in today’s world. This increasing trend is not only unique to adults, but children as well. As such, it is critical that parents are equipped with the skills and knowledge to manage these issues in their children.

  • Addressing Psychological issues faced by children
  • Issues faced by children in upper primary
  • Some real-life anonymous cases would be highlighted
  • Stressors, facing mental pressures and the importance of creating a conducive environment at home

Topic: Self Management Workshop
Everyone of us deserves to be in a good mental state and be happy. It is important for young children to be equipped with the knowledge and effective coping strategies to manage their mental well-being and lead a meaningful life.

Learning Objectives:
– Define mental and emotional well-being
– Identify signs and symptoms of poor self-care
– Identify factors contributing to positive well-being
– Apply effective ways to manage emotional well-being
