Primary 1 Starters: Translating the Principles of Nurturing Early Learners into Practice

ABOUT

The Primary 1 Starters parenting workshop aims to help parents prepare themselves and their children in their journey towards Primary 1 and throughout their primary school education.

This workshop aims to ease parents’ anxiety, and prepare them in their role of guiding their little ones through primary school. Topics featured:

  • Preparing for Primary 1 Curriculum
  • Practices at Home
  • Curriculum Matters
  • Translating the Principles of Nurturing Early Learners into Practice

Program for children:

Musical Speech & Drama

Imagination is key! Get your children immersed in a world of imagination as they engage in this Musical Speech & Drama workshop. Your children will be encouraged to express themselves freely through drama, music and movement in a safe and flexible environment. This will also serve as a platform for children to explore different emotions and develop their social and leadership skills.

Batik Art

A fresh take on the traditional art of Batik Painting! Children will be encouraged to go beyond conventional designs and create art that is unique to them. Together with developing an appreciation for Batik, children will also have the opportunity to explore different mediums of art.
