ABOUT

Programme


An introductory robotics activity through which kids learn coding, electronics and about physical prototyping. Learn basic engineering and the design-thinking process in a hands-on way and encourage them to learn by doing by using a combination of the Hummingbird Robotics Kit and some craft materials to build a working electronic model of an animal that they’re inspired by.

Objectives

  • Learn the basics of programming input, output, logic & sequencing
  • Understand key concepts in Mechanical Engineering-Mechanisms & building stable structures
  • Learn about simple circuits, put together your own with LEDs, distance sensors, light sensors and more
  • Build on problem-solving and design-thinking skills
  • Learn how to code your robo-pet with Scratch
