The Secondary 1 Starters workshop is for parents who are preparing to guide their children from primary school to secondary school. Through the presentations by various speakers over two sessions, parents will gain useful insights into the current educational landscape and critical issues, such as the social and emotional well‐being of their children. Parents will also learn about the academic and socio-emotional factors affecting secondary school-going children, and equip themselves with resources and tools available to help their child cope with a new environment. 

 

Program for children:
Topics: Building self-esteem in your child

The workshop is aimed to increase resilience in children. Children will understand and know how to apply the various values that are essential for their daily lives.

Open to all Indian parents and children in Primary 6 who are Singaporean Citizens or Permanent Residents.
