ABOUT

Programme


This programme is for Indian parents whose children will be entering Primary 6 in 2018. After this programme , parents will be emotionally prepared to guide their children through their transition from primary school to secondary school. Parents will gain useful insights into the current educational landscape and critical issues such as the social and emotional well‐being of their children.

Parenting Workshop – Topics Covered:

  • Transition to Secondary 1
  • Providing your child with support after major exams
  • Suggestions for exciting activities while waiting for the secondary school term to begin

Children Workshop – Topics Covered:

  • Encourage empathy when working in a team to foster good team dynamics
  • Manage adversities faced in life efficiently by developing their resilience
  • Employ fresh and positive perspectives when dealing with difficulties

After the talks, parents and children will be brought to the AMPED Trampoline Park for fun and games!

Note: Dinner will be provided.

Open to Indian parents and children aged from 11 to 12 years old (Primary 5 and 6) who are Singaporean Citizens or Permanent Residents
