The Friends of the University of Warwick in Singapore has launched this new undergraduate scholarship to enable academically-gifted but financially-disadvantaged youth holding Singapore citizenship or Permanent Residency to study at Warwick University. It is funded through the generosity of Warwick alumni and friends in Singapore.
One to two scholarships will be offered to Singaporean nationals and Permanent Residents.
The scholarship supports a maximum of four years of undergraduate study, and will cover tuition and other compulsory fees. The level of maintenance funds will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
The scholarship award will be reviewed annually and is subjected to satisfactory performance and academic results.
Scholars will be required to report annually on their progress to the Trustees, attend events as the Trustees or University may request from time to time, including donor receptions, as well as support the recruitment of further scholars.
