Nurturing enlightened families is among the key thrusts of SINDA. The Family and Youth Development Division (FYDD) provides Family Services.

SINDA Family Service Centre was re-designed in 2004 to become a One-Stop Family Help Service to serve families that seek help from SINDA.

Students from low-income family backgrounds can apply for bursaries, subsidised computers and printers, etc. SINDA also helps in skills-upgrading for the unemployed and also job-matching in many cases.
