Many hands make light work

SINDA’s vision and mission is not that of SINDA’s alone. It is really more the vision and mission of the entire Singaporean Indian community. The socio-educational challenges facing the community must be addressed collectively to ensure a strong and vibrant community that proudly stands shoulder to shoulder with the other communities in multi-racialSingapore.

SINDA actively seeks and welcomes partnerships and collaborations with organisations both within and outside the Indian community to extend its outreach and assistance to as many Singaporean Indian children and families as possible.

SINDA welcomes all proposals that are aligned to SINDA’s mission and mandate, from organisations and individuals keen to “give back” to society. SINDA also supports feasible proposals that have clearly articulated deliverables and outcomes. Such support may include funding as well.

To date, several partnerships have been established – the Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with Singapore Indian Education Trust (SIET) and Narpani Pearavai as well as ongoing collaborations with Little India Shop keepers & Heritage Association (LISHA), Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) and several sub-ethnic and religious organisations are examples of such partnership and collaboration efforts.
