The aim of setting up the career development centre is to serve as a one-stop service centre for skills upgrading, career advancement as well as referral assistance for the low wage and low skilled adult Indian workers.

Employability Skills System (ESS)

Objective
ESS targets those without basic literacy and numeracy skills and low wage workers. It helps clients to perform better at their jobs by learning higher skills.

  • Those without basic literacy and numeracy skills

Continuing Education & Training (CET)

Objective
CET is a comprehensive plan to train adult workers for the future and place them in a job.

  • Primary education
  • Secondary education

Place & Train Scheme (P & T)

Objective
The Place and Train Programmes offer a unique arrangement where jobseekers are first selected by potential employers before they undergo training

Surrogate Employers Scheme

Objective
To assist working adults tap onto the Skills Development Fund (SDF) through SINDA to upgrade their skills.
