In today’s context, parents require different skill sets to manage their children, compared to the past generations.  It is not intuitive for parents to understand changing value systems and the day-to-day demands placed on their children. More dialogue and meaningful communication between the parent and children become essential, to establish better understanding. Through its interactive Parenting Workshops, SINDA aims to increase awareness on the importance of parental involvement

Mathematics Workshop for Parents

Statistics indicate that underperformance in Maths amongst Indian students is a persistent challenge. Maths is vital, to widen students’ options for higher learning. Through SINDA’s Mathematics Workshops, Indian parents learn how to help their children handle Mathematic problems that they are required to solve in school. Parents also acquire useful strategies to help their children with their homework, and gain greater awareness on how they may contribute to their child’s academic success.

iCAN Workshop

Paternal involvement is very important for a child’s emotional, social, and cognitive development. Through the iCAN Workshop, Indian fathers appreciate the importance of fathering involvement and explore vital skills for building lasting relationships with their children. This workshop is designed to equip Indian fathers with deeper understanding of what their child needs.
