THE SCHOLARSHIP
- SIA-SINDA scholarship is tenable at NUS, NTU, SMU and top universities overseas
ELIGIBILITY
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of Indian Origin
- Excellent academic record in Secondary School and Junior College or Polytechnic
- Strong leadership qualities and achievements in co-curricular activities demonstrated in CCA or National Service (if applicable)
- Successful candidates are required to sign a bond with SIA for 4 years for both the local and overseas award
- Applications from outstanding students who will be enrolling for full-time undergraduate studies in 2006
- Current undergraduates who have excelled in their present course of study may also apply
- All courses are considered except Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy
VALUE OF AWARDS
- Local: Tuition and hostel fees, a one-off computer allowance, maintenance allowance, annual trip to any point on SIA’s global network
- Overseas: Tuition and other compulsory fees; maintenance allowance, one-off clothing and computer allowances, annual book allowance, air passage at beginning and end of course plus an annual trip on SIA’s services. In addition, Singapore Airlines will reimburse fees for university applications and entrance tests.
- Both: Vacation courses at SIA’s Management Development Centre and vacation attachments to a SIA office.

- Identity Card or Citizenship Certificate
- Certificates or results slips of educational qualifications (e.g. GCE ‘O’, ‘A’ Level Examination results and CCA records).
- Any other supporting documents or testimonials.
