STEP is a holistic programme designed to help students perform better in English, Mathematics and Science. Extra care is taken by our principals, teachers and administrators to monitor the progress of each student. Our STEP students are taught to balance studies with fun. Our students participate in specially organized field trips, social visits and enrichment programmes during school holidays to experience hands-on learning.

STEP has benefited countless students. Our stars include K. Harikumar who was the top 'N' level student in 2000, K. Komathy, a former STEP student who graduated with a degree in Material Science from NUS in 2001 and Arifa who was a top 10% achiever for GCE 'O' Level in 1999. These individuals bear testimony that STEP has helped them score better grades.

Quality

Centre Personnel
Our tutors are carefully chosen. 90% of our tutors are trained teachers. Each STEP centre has a Centre Principal. Most of our Centre Principals are retired Principals or current Head of Departments in schools. They ensure the smooth running of STEP. [ 5 top ]

Small Class Size
We keep our class size small. 15 to 20 students are grouped in one class to ensure our teachers are able to give personal attention. [ 5 top ]

Assessment
STEP students are tested regularly to gauge their performance. The aim is to identify weak students for tutors to spend more time guiding them. [ 5 top ]

Accessibility

STEP Centres are now closer to your home.

Affordability

Our fees are affordable. The tuition costs a minimal $30/- per month. The fee for the secondary level is $120/- per programme for 15 weeks. This works out to $8/- per week. Don't let the fee stop you, there are subsidies available to individuals who are unable to afford the fees. [ 5 top ]

Enrichment

At STEP, we believe in helping our students develop their full potential. For our younger students, we have reading sessions once a week. Enrichment programmes such as sports clinics, drama workshops and field trips are some of the treats our STEP students can look forward to during the holidays. [ 5 top ]

Classes

Classes are held three times a week on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 7-9 pm. Primary classes are conducted from January to October. [ 5 top ]
