IT Lifestyle aims to encourage Indian families with young children to cultivate an interest in IT at an early age and inculcate IT as a way of life.

Programme Details

  • Volunteers will visit the homes of families once a week for 1 hour.
  • A minimum of 4 sessions are conducted to teach the families basic IT skills and to get them to do related fun and interesting activities on the computers.
  • Children are taught basic Internet Skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and troubleshooting techniques.

Target

  • Low-income families with 6 – 12 year old children so as to cultivate an interest in IT at an early age.
  • Families who have received the Neu PC will be identified for this Programme.
