Cyber Wellness for Children

ABOUT

Programme

Equip our impressionable kids against cyberspace risks! Through fun and exciting activities, children get excited about the possibilities of the Internet and learn about the potential dangers at the same time. This effectively teaches them to be astute in their early years exploring the Internet. Favoured primarily for young children who may not have the necessary home environment to complement the cyber wellness message, the values taught serve to prevent young children from stumbling into potentially life-changing difficulties.

We will be having 2 workshops covering different topics for children. We strongly encourage you to register for both workshops so as to benefit greatly from these informative sessions!

Session 1:

Topics Covered:

  • Netiquette – Be responsible and kind online
  • Cyberbullying – Treat others the way you want to be treated

Session 2:

Topics Covered:

  • Internet Addiction – Managing your device usage
  • Handling Fake News – Recognising different types of fake news

The topics being covered in these sessions are very relevant to the problems and threats faced by children in today’s digital world.

It will be beneficial if your child knows how to deal with these issues at a younger age.
