Living in today’s digital world, kids must know how to type. Children today are exposed to keyboards from a very early age from family laptops to the keyboard screens of their parents’ tablets and smartphones. While typing is a skill that can be mastered at any age, the younger the better, as they will have more opportunities to refine and strengthen their skills. Furthermore, learning typing skills will also help improve other skills such as reading and writing, along with enhancing their self-esteem.
Learning to type does not have to be difficult. We bring to your child a simple yet fun typing workshop where your child will go through alphabets, placement on the keyboard, home row panel and some basic typing challenges.
Children will also get to play typing games such as “Fastest Fingers First” where we will get them to type a phrase or sentence as fast as possible with minimal errors.
Hurry now! Register your child for this fun-filled workshop this holiday season!
Considering young children’s limited attention span, we are keeping the workshops short and concise yet engaging and fun!
* It is mandatory for one parent to present with the child for this programme. While guiding their child through the workshop, parents can pick up some coding skills as well! *
