The P1 Starters parent workshop aims to help parents prepare themselves and their children in their journey towards P1 and throughout the primary school years.
This programme aims to help ease parents’ anxiety and to prepare them in their role of guiding their little ones through primary school. The workshop would provide information to parents on academic and socio-emotional factors affecting primary school-going children. The workshop would increase parents knowledge on resources and tools available to help their child cope with a new environment.

Programme for preschoolers:
Puppet Show: Bilingual Babble
In this workshop, children will be taken through a read-aloud session with puppets. Puppet play brings a myriad of gains to the child, especially in the areas of communication and social skills. Children will get to communicate with puppets and gain confidence in expressing themselves.
Introductions Non-melodic Percussions: A Farmyard Jamboree
In this workshop, children will be introduced to musical concepts and will be able to explore instrumentation through fun stories, craft activities and songs.
