“Photoshopping” pictures have become increasingly popular among people, especially the younger generation; due to the rise of social media. Photographs allow us to freeze unforgettable moments in our life, which we can’t hold on to but would like to re-live again and again. Now, with technology, photographs are digitalised and have no expiry! Now, we also have the power to edit these photographs, modifying or enhancing them to better capture those precious memories.
This workshop will consist of Adobe® Photoshop® CS6: Part 1. It will focus on some of the basic features of Photoshop so that the student can navigate the environment and use Photoshop tools to work with photographic images. In addition, the orientation to Adobe Bridge and organization of files in Bridge is covered.
We will be having the following programme, at the same time as the Photoshop Workshop, for you. You can sign up for it while registering your child for the workshop.
Parenting Talk: Plugged-in Parenting
In today’s multimedia world where many of our children are media and digital natives, the media can be an ally, a teaching aid; but it can also be a source of conflict. This session will help parents decide where to draw the line; and help their children keep boundaries of their own. Get plugged-in on the why and how to use the media to pull your family together, rather than let it push you apart.
