Preschoolers Digital Workshops (October)

ABOUT

Programme

While the older kids are busy with exam preparation during the month of October, we have planned out a series of digital literacy workshops for our preschoolers!

Understanding how technology works are important for the future of our preschoolers. As such, we aim to bring fun, interactive and useful digital knowledge and skills to preschoolers online, hoping to enhance their skills in structured thinking and creativity. These workshops will also be beneficial to them as they gain the ability to understand how to shape their digital world.

Scratch

Pre-schoolers will get a head-start in the world of tech as they create their very own stories and animations in a fun and interactive way with Scratch. They will learn to code and enhance their skills in structured thinking and creativity, which are integral skills for assimilating mathematical and scientific concepts.

Tynker

Pre-schoolers will get to experience the Tynker editor, taking them into the world of computation thinking. Coding techniques include logical operations, repetition and sequencing.

Hurry and sign up your child for the workshops! Do not miss the opportunity to give them the opportunity to experience and learn something beneficial, within the safety of your home.

Note:

  • Considering young children’s limited attention span, we are keeping the workshops short and concise yet engaging and fun!
  •  ***It is mandatory for one parent to present with the child for this programme. While guiding their child through the workshop, parents can pick up some coding skills as well!***

Tools:

  • Desktop or laptop computer (1 student:1 computer)
  • WiFi required
