Parenting Talk: Plugged-in Parenting
In today’s multimedia world where many of our children are media and digital natives, the media can be an ally, a teaching aid; but it can also be a source of conflict. This session will help parents decide where to draw the line, and help their children keep boundaries of their own. Get plugged-in on the why and how to use the media to pull your family together, rather than let it push you apart.
“Photoshopping” pictures became increasingly popular among people, especially the younger generation, with the rise of social media. Photographs allow us to freeze unforgettable moments in our life, which we can’t hold on to but would like to re-live again and again. Children will learn how to utilize the basic features of Photoshop.
