The SAA-GE – SINDA scholarships are offered to candidates who are interested in doing a course at SAA Global Education (SAA-GE). SAA-GE is a Singapore home-grown private education institution offering academic and professional programmes in accountancy, finance, business and hospitality. iii. Terms and Conditions of the SAA Scholarship

  • Shortlisted candidates will be notified of the interview date and only successful candidates will be informed of the outcome by SINDA.
  • All scholarships entail SAA-GE’s Tuition Fee only (excluding bridging module fee, non-tuition fee, assessment/exam fee, re-module fee, medical insurance, FPS, registration fees, continuing registration fee, cost of materials and textbooks, whenever applicable) for the entire duration of the course.
  • Successful candidates are required to pay SAA’s application fee.
  • The recipient will be required to complete the relevant programme within the given duration from the commencement of the study (“Prescribed Time”). SAA-GE reserves the right not to confer the relevant programme if the recipient fails to satisfy SAA-GE’s requirements for graduation.
  • SAA-GE reserves the right to suspend, withdraw or terminate the sponsorship for the recipient or vary the terms of such sponsorship in any manner, and at any time if, in SAA-GE’s sole and reasonable discretion, the recipient’s conduct or performance (whether academic or others) has not been satisfactory or if disciplinary action has been taken against the recipient by SAA-GE.
  • The recipient shall be required to reimburse SAA-GE forthwith on demand the full amount sponsored by SAA-GE for his/her programme under the following circumstances:
    • if he/she withdraws from or discontinues the programme or fails to complete the same within the Prescribed Time for any reason whatsoever; or
    • if SAA-GE withdraws or terminates the sponsorship pursuant to the above point; or
    • if the recipient fails to complete any of the modules or examinations under his/her programme in one (1) attempt; or
    • if the recipient fails to meet SAA-GE’s graduation requirement for his/her programme.
  • Must pursue their studies with SAA-GE and are required to attend at least 90% of the course lectures. In the event of illness or other extenuating circumstances resulting in attendance of less than 90%, a medical certificate or an authorised letter justifying the reason(s) will be required.
  • The scholarship is non-transferable and deferment of classes is not allowed.
  • SAA-GE shall review the recipient’s performance at the end of each intake before the sponsorship is continued/renewed.
  • Perform 20 hours of student volunteer scheme half-yearly with SAA-GE.
  • Candidates are required to volunteer their time with SINDA or Singapore Indian Education Trust (SIET) upon completion and/or during the course.
  • Must act as the SAA-GE Ambassador
    • Present at marketing activities as required
    • Write testimonials
    • Appear in SAA-GE promotions and advertisements
  • Adhere to all SAA-GE regulations and requirements.
  • The sponsorship selection committee’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entertained.
  • A separate letter with the detailed terms and conditions (including the above terms and conditions) and others relating to the course of study will be given to the successful applicant. Please ensure that you have this letter and understand the binding terms and conditions.


iv. Processing Time

  • You are required to apply for the scholarship before the closing date 15th May 2020.
  • Processing time takes approximately 3– 4 weeks.



To be considered for a scholarship, you must be:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of Indian origin
  • Existing SAA students are not eligible to apply for this Scholarship
  • Must not possess a first Degree (for Degree courses) / Diploma (for Diploma courses)
  • Must meet the minimum requirements to a course of study as stipulated by SAA at https://saage.edu.sg/local-application/
  • Must have outstanding academic achievement
  • Must have good character record
  • Must have good leadership and communications skills
  • Must not hold any other bursary / /scholarships of study awards
  • Applicant must obtain the letter of offer from SAA before application
  • Must submit a short essay on the reason for the scholarship application



  1. Visit SAA-GE, 111 Somerset Road, TripleOne Somerset, #04-25, Singapore 238164 and speak with a course consultant, do mention that you will be applying for the SAA-GE-SINDA Scholarship.
  2. Ask the consultant if there are any bridging modules you need to take up in order to start your course. (Please note that fees for bridging modules are not included in the Scholarship).
  3. Download SINDA scholarship application form and send the completed form together with necessary documents indicated in the form to the address below.
