Is your child easily overwhelmed by homework, friendship issues, or changes in routine? Do meltdowns, shutdowns, or “attitude” sometimes leave you wondering how best to respond?
Then this workshop is PERFECT for you!
Stress to Success: Teaching My Child to Bounce Back! is an engaging, science-based workshop for parents of primary school children (aged 7 to 12). It unpacks how stress affects your child’s brain, emotions, and behaviour and how your everyday parenting responses can either heat things up or calm things down.
In this interactive session, you will:
- Understand what is happening beneath your child’s behaviour during tough moments
- Learn simple, practical strategies to support your child’s emotional regulation
- Practise what to say (and what to avoid) when your child is upset, defiant, or shuts down
- Discover small daily habits that build resilience and confidence over time
Through relatable real-life examples and easy take-home tools, you will leave with clear, do-able strategies you can start using right away at home to help your child cope better with challenges and setbacks without needing to be a behaviour expert.
