ITE ASPIRE is a 10 week pilot programme focused on cultivating aspirations so that ITE Indian students stay in school and successfully complete their academic courses. In addition, this programme is designed to provide these students the platform to master the relevant soft skills that is beneficial in tackling their required modules. In due course, this programme is geared to positively impact students by augmenting their resilience, self-efficacy and confidence.
The key goals of ITE ASPIRE are to build aspirations, resilience and self-efficacy of Indian students while equipping them with useful soft skills such as communication and study skills. These soft skills will come in good stead during the course of their education and benefit them thereafter during their career.
ITE ASPIRE will consist of 10 weekly sessions. These sessions have two components;
Each session will be supervised by a SINDA Officer with attendance recorded. Students will be spending the first hour learning soft skills (focusing on communication and study skills) by assigned facilitators followed by an hour of dance choreography aided by instructors.
