STEP

STEP is a holistic programme designed to help Indian students perform better in English, Mathematics and Science. Launched in 1992, STEP, complements the school curriculum and prepares students for school and landmark examinations.
A glance at Indian students’ performance in the landmark examinations in the last two decades reveal that the Indian pass rate in PSLE Maths has increased from 54 per cent in 1990, to 76 per cent in 2010. ‘O’ Level Maths pass rates also saw a rise of 12 per cent within the same period, while the ‘A’ Level pass rates improved by 15 per cent. While all of these indicate good progress, there is still room for more improvement for our students to attain better grades and national parity.
Extra care is taken by our principals, teachers and administrators to monitor the progress of each student at STEP. Since its inception, STEP has benefited countless students.
