Want to introduce your child to the world of programming? Now’s your chance!
In collaboration with The Coding Mentor, students get to engage with the Scratch interface, a block-based coding language on the web, hailed for its interactiveness and user-friendly interface for kids.

No prior experience is required! This introductory workshop is designed to scaffold learning, making complex concepts fun and easy-to-pick-up. The workshop is also themed on sustainability, incorporating recycling elements to encourage good practices among students!
By the end of this hands-on workshop, students will have explored core coding concepts through fun, game-based exercises and learned how to apply those skills to encourage recycling. Each student will also build a final project using Scratch.
Students are welcome to bring their own laptop. For those without one, laptops will be provided through our partner.
