Executive – Education (Teaching & Learning)

[Contract Position]

 

Job Description:

You will provide operational and administrative support in procuring and delivering educational resource materials to learning centres, while managing databases and analysing data to support informed decision making. The role requires the ability to perform effectively in meeting deadlines.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management:
    • Coordinate the timely distribution of learning materials, such as curriculum textbooks and e-learning applications/licenses, to students and tutors across 75 learning centres
    • Ensure accurate tracking and management of all learning materials in alignment with operational timelines
    • Support logistics operations such as packing, shifting, collection, and handover of materials to vendors (role involves some physical handling of items)
  2. Procurement and Financial Management
    • Carry out the procurement of learning materials in accordance with established SOPs, financial policies, and procurement guidelines
    • Procure and manage suppliers effectively
  3. Data Management 
    • Maintain accurate and updated student and resource inventory records within the Education Management System (EMS)
    • Analyse and interpret data to generate insights that support informed decision-making by Management
  •  

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in any discipline, with 1 to 2 years of experience in education operations or programme administration
  • Good Understanding of the Singapore Education landscape
  • Able to engage and manage diverse groups of stakeholders, including auxiliary staff (Centre Administrators, Centre Principals, etc) and vendors effectively
  • Demonstrate strong competency in procurement activities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Excel dashboards, Power BI, Tableau) will be considered an added advantage
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to participate in SINDA-wide events, when required
  • Approved overtime hours will be compensated with time off or off-in-lieu in accordance with internal policy
