SINDA’s Mentor Me is to help tertiary students achieve their desired career path with guidance from mentors.
Programme Objective:
This programme is designed to assist aspiring tertiary students in preparing for their social and future plans through mentorship by industry/sector professionals. Students will gain a better understanding of the key areas of work specialisation and will be better equipped to make informed choices for their future education and career plans.
The programme is to begin in February/March 2026.
Mentor Me aims to assist aspiring tertiary students in achieving their educational and career goals with the guidance of suitable industry professionals as mentors. Mentor Me is specifically designed for polytechnic students and undergrads.
The student may also receive an opportunity to be connected with internships and job opportunities offered by our supporting partners.
Mentor – Mentee Ratio
- Recommended Ratio: 1 Mentor to 1 Student
Virtual or Face-to-Face Meetups
- Mentors sharing their experiences
- Mentees sharing their plans and goals
- Setting and reviewing goals
- Career Guidance
Training for Mentees
- Modular workshops will be made available for mentees to enhance their life & soft skills.
- Mentees may receive sponsorships or tap on SINDA’s Equal Opportunity Fund for courses recommended by their mentors (Subject to approval).
Progress Tracking
- Log sheets will be completed by mentees and verified by mentors
Fees for the programme will be fully subsidised.
Open to Indian students enrolled currently in Polytechnic/University.
