We are happy to invite you to the 2026 SINDA-SIET Tertiary Bursary Scheme.
SIET grants bursaries to deserving full-time Indian students who are experiencing financial difficulties and are currently enrolled in approved government-aided post-secondary institutions.

Instructions:
- Please read through the criteria carefully and submit your bursary application form with the necessary supporting documents.
- You will receive an email with your Application Reference Number upon completing the first page of the online application. You can continue with your application or login in later using the Application Reference Number to access the portal to complete your application.
- Only fully submitted bursary application forms will be processed. All the supporting documents which are compulsory must be submitted for verification. Our processing time varies between 4 to 6 weeks.
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of Indian/other South Asian origins (Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, etc.)
- Full-time student in a post-secondary educational institution.
(Please refer to Annexe A for information on the list of eligible institutions) - Household Per Capita Income (PCI) Nett of $1,600 per month or below.
(The PCI is computed as follows: Total Nett income of everyone in the household divided by the number of people in the household) - Applied for financial assistance such as Ministry of Education (MOE) or Higher Education Community Bursary, Tuition Grant/Loan etc. with his/her institution prior to applying for SINDA-SIET Tertiary Bursary Award.
- Applicants are required to attend at least 1 SINDA programme in a year. (Please see Annexe B for more details)

This quantum is applicable till December 2026. The duration of the bursary awarded will be based on your completed submission of your application or till graduation whichever is applicable.
Note:
- The applicant will be required to attend an online interview with interview panellists. The decisions made by the panellists are final.
- All communication is through your registered email. Please check your emails for regular updates on your application.
- Do take note that it is compulsory for all the students to sign up for at least 1 SINDA programme. (*ITEnable/MentorMe whichever is applicable)
- The bursary award will be discontinued when a student graduates or withdraws from his/her course during the year.
*Do inform us if you have graduated or withdrawn from your course of study.
