Teach is a school-based tutorial programme endeavouring to improve the academic performance of students by closing their learning gaps and preparing them for daily lessons in the core subjects through intensive small-group coaching sessions.
Since its inception in 2001, the Teach Programme has been conducted in MOE schools islandwide. This customised programme is conducted after-school hours on weekdays and on Saturdays within schools’ premises for students in Primary and Secondary levels. To date, more than 19,100 students have benefited from the programme.
The Teach Programme has since been enhanced to include both academic as well as components of motivation for students’ holistic development.
As such, the Teach Programme is designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve academic success and the confidence to face challenges with resilience.
From 2019, students of all races are eligible to participate in our Teach programme.
